New Biosciences Appointments Strengthen Capability at Concept Life Sciences

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new senior hires to strengthen our expertise and offering across Biosciences, reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in drug discovery and development.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new senior hires to strengthen our expertise and offering across Biosciences, reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in drug discovery and development.

Dr Ana-Mishel (AM) Spiroski has been appointed as Vice President Biosciences, leading our Biosciences business unit across Biology and Toxicology. Bringing over 20 years of experience in preclinical and translational drug discovery leadership, Ana-Mishel will focus on accelerating end‑to‑end drug discovery, strengthening translational integration to drive high‑quality outcomes for our clients and partners.

Ana-Mishel joins us from Evotec where she established the Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area, leading multi-site teams to enable expansion and platform innovation across modalities for this and the Age-Related Diseases Therapeutic Area. She has experience across a range of disease areas including Immune-Mediated Diseases, Fibrotic, Metabolic and Rare Diseases. Ana-Mishel has led drug discovery teams across a broad range of modalities, with a significant focus on NextGen therapies.

We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Graeme Thomson as Head of Assay Development and Screening to lead the expanded Assay Development and Screening function at our Chapel-en-le-Frith headquarters.

Graeme brings a wealth of experience, gained over 25 years’ in drug discovery, with particular focus in Oncology. Graeme has extensive experience in assay development and screening, and in leading biology teams, most recently at Oncodrug where he was Head of Bioscience. He also spent over a decade at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute Drug Discovery Unit, where he rose to the position of Head of Biology. Graeme has a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow.

Together, these appointments represent a significant investment in our scientific leadership and capability. They will enhance our ability to deliver integrated, high-quality Biosciences solutions, support our clients in tackling increasingly complex scientific challenges, and drive the continued growth of our Biosciences offering.
