Acceptable Use Policy – Concept Peptide Profiler

Effective Date: 30th April 2026

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your access to and use of the Concept Peptide Profiler made available on our website (the “App”). It applies only to use of the App on the website and does not govern any other product or services. By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with, and be bound by, this policy.

Beta Status Notice

The App is provided in Beta status. It is a testing-phase service and may contain bugs, errors or inaccuracies and may have limited functionality, stability, availability or performance. Features may change, be suspended, or be withdrawn at any time without notice during the Beta period.

Permitted Use

The App may be used solely for research and development support, sequence evaluation, and planning purposes. It is not intended for clinical diagnosis, patient care, therapeutic decision-making, medical device use, or any production or safety-critical environment.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or underlying models, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law;
  • access, probe, or test the App or related systems by any automated means or in a manner intended to bypass or defeat security or access controls;
  • upload, transmit, or introduce malware, exploits, or other harmful code, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the App or our systems;
  • use the App to develop, train, or improve models or services that compete with the App, or to benchmark for publication without our prior written consent;
  • use the App to process personal data without a lawful basis or in breach of applicable data protection laws;
  • use the App for any unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or harmful purpose, or to generate or disseminate content that facilitates illegal activity;
  • misrepresent output from the App as human-generated analysis without appropriate disclosures, or remove or obscure any notices in the App;
  • share, sell, sublicense, or otherwise provide access to the App to any third party without our prior written consent;
  • exceed any usage limits or rate limits we impose, or attempt to circumvent them.

User Content and Data

You are responsible for all data, sequences, prompts, annotations and other content you submit to or through the App (“User Content”), including ensuring it is accurate, lawful and that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to use and submit it. You must not submit any content that infringes third party rights or contains personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for the permitted use. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process and use User Content solely to provide, maintain, secure and improve the App and to comply with applicable law. We will implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect User Content in accordance with our privacy notice which can be found here.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the App, including software, models, algorithms, interfaces, documentation, and outputs generated by the App (other than the User Content input by you), are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights to use the App in accordance with this policy, no rights are granted to you. You retain ownership of your User Content. To the extent any intellectual property rights arise in derivative works created by or for you using the App outputs, such rights shall be subject to any applicable third-party licence terms and this policy.

Disclaimers and Research Use Notices

The App and any outputs are provided for research and development support, sequence evaluation, and planning only and are not a substitute for professional judgment or independent verification.

The App may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading outputs, and you must validate all results independently before relying on them.

We do not warrant that the App or its outputs are fit for any particular purpose, error-free, or will achieve any specific results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”.

Predicted values, including aggregation propensity, synthesis difficulty, physicochemical properties, charge profiles, and structural conformations, may differ from experimental results. Actual behaviour depends on many factors, including synthesis protocol, resin and solvent system, concentration, temperature, buffer composition, neighbouring residues, and other experimental conditions.

Three-dimensional structures generated within this application are intended for visualisation and qualitative interpretation only. Limited conformational sampling and optimisation are performed to maintain web performance, and the resulting conformations should not be considered validated structural models or used as the sole basis for structural or design decisions.

Predictions related to synthesis feasibility should be reviewed by an experienced peptide chemist before being used to guide experimental work. Structural outputs intended for modelling, docking, or quantitative analysis should be refined using specialised computational methods. Where non-natural amino acids, modifications, or approximated parameters are used, prediction accuracy may be reduced.

For accurate synthesis planning, structural modelling, or project-grade computational analysis, specialist services and expert review are recommended.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, in whole or in part, immediately with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached this policy, if required by law or a third-party provider, to address security or operational risks, or during maintenance or updates. We may also discontinue the Beta or the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but sections intended to survive will continue in effect.

Export Control and Sanctions

You must comply with all applicable export control, re-export, and sanctions laws and regulations, including those of the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the United States, to the extent applicable. You must not access or use the App from, or for the benefit of, any country, entity, or individual subject to comprehensive sanctions or other applicable restrictions, and you must not submit content that would require an export licence without first obtaining such licence.

Confidentiality

Non-public information about the App, including performance data, testing feedback, and documentation we disclose to you, is our confidential information. You must keep it confidential, use it only for the permitted purpose of using the App during the Beta, and not disclose it to third parties without our prior written consent, except as required by law.
