In this 30 min presentation, Dr Frances Acklam, Senior Scientist at CLS, will present our capabilities and solutions we provide within the I-O drug discovery space with a specific focus on two types of in vitro platform assays: exhausted T cell assay and tumour associated macrophage assays. T cell and macrophages are critical players in the tumour microenvironment and constitute major cellular targets in immunotherapy. We will demonstrate how we have established robust laboratory assays using human T cells and macrophages and how we can use these assays to identify promising compounds that would benefit cancer patients.
