Peakdale Bake Sale Raises funds for Mountain Rescue Charity

Our annual charity bake sale has raised £614.75 for a local deserving charity.

Each year we organise a bake sale to help raise some well deserved funds for local charities, this year has been the best year to date with some fantastic entries! Each year our staff at our Chapel-en-le-Frith site did not disappoint and managed to impress with their culinary skills, all the hard work paying off with the money raised, just take a look at some of the fantastic entries below…

About Kinder Mountain Rescue

Kinder Mountain Rescue Team (KMRT), is one of seven mountain rescue teams that operate within the Peak District National Park, as part of the Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation (PDMRO). The 50 members operate on a purely voluntary basis and are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist members of the public on the hill or in urban search and rescue situations. Funded by public donations, and all proceeds from fund raising go towards equipment and resources used on our call outs.
