PEAKDALE MOLECULAR ARE PROUD TO BE SPONSORS OF RAMS 2016
RECENT APPOINTEES IN MATERIALS SCIENCE
LANCASTER UNIVERSITY, 22-23RD SEPTEMBER, 2016
The Recent Appointees in Materials Science (RAMS) conference aims to support new appointees to academic and industrial posts in particular subject areas. With the aim to support those at the beginning of their career by providing a forum for networking. RAMS seeks to provide a medium where new appointees can share their experiences and learn from their peers.
Recent Appointees in Materials Science Conference (RAMS 2016) is the only national conference specifically aimed at new academic appointees (lecturers, research fellows, and postdocs) in materials science. The RAMS 2016 conference incorporates symposia covering a broad range of subjects in Materials Science (from inorganic materials and functional nanomaterials to biological, soft matter and electronic materials), to help recent appointees to build their national collaborative networks, exchange experiences and benefit from peer support. The conference also incorporates plenary lectures from leading UK materials scientists as well as sessions on essential training and development and information on funding opportunities through the RAMS network, targeted to help academics and industrialists at the start of their careers.
Attending the event is our Business Development Manager, Dr. Will Bromley. Will joined Peakdale in 2009 and after several successful years as a Senior Research Chemist in the lab, brings his experience and enthusiasm to the Business Development team.
Will is will be attending RAMS 2016 and is keen to discuss your ongoing and future projects, and investigate whether there are any opportunities for Peakdale to support your research.
