Non-genotoxic carcinogenicity

Many pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and chemicals cause rodent tumours by non-genotoxic mechanisms. Tumours typically occur in the liver or thyroid. Faced with a compound that has caused (or is expected to cause) rodent tumours by a non-genotoxic mechanism, it is necessary to demonstrate lack of human relevance to the satisfaction of the regulators. We have worked with global pharmaceutical, chemical and agrochemical companies to achieve this and our data is frequently used in regulatory submissions.
