Overview

Our business offers a comprehensive range of services that are geared specifically to the demands of the food and environmental industries.

Our food microbiology service is open for business seven days a week to carry out food hygiene and safety tests. With our modern laboratories and trained team of technicians we can accommodate a high number of samples without risk of cross contamination during sample processing. We have a separate nutrition testing laboratory equipped to carry out a wide range of tests and generate nutritional labelling data in accordance with internationally recognised standards.

In the environment, workplace and the wider community, our analytical laboratories utilise the latest instrumentation to assess exposure to harmful chemicals and substances. We can carry out routine organic and inorganic analysis as well as other bespoke tests. We also offer a pesticide screening service for over 450 active chemicals used in modern agriculture and those that have been banned for toxicological reasons.

Dedicated services aimed at the waste and recycling industry include landfill gas monitoring and Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) testing. Our services are UKAS accredited. We also work with clients in the nuclear industry to provide environmental analysis of radiochemical active samples.

Our environmental consultants are very active in the development, property, infrastructure and industrial sectors. The experience and knowledge of our highly skilled engineers, scientists and commercial staff covers multiple disciplines. We provide advice and guidance on acoustics, air quality, asbestos, ecology, environmental management, contaminated land, geotechnical engineering, brownfield redevelopment and geo-environmental solutions.
